This is to certify Novus products comes with excellent warranty from the date of purchase for its performance and against any manufacturing defects.
The warranty is valid against any manufacturing defects i.e. glueing defects, structure defects and appearance defects only.
1) Glueing defects means – weak bonding & low wood failure rate
2) Structure defects means – core board is separated from the seam & too high moisture content
3) Appearance defects Means – Face Veneer long splits & Face Veneer delamination.
Damage resulting to improper storage, handling, machining, joinery and other mechanical, chemical or any other treatment are not covered under this warranty. The warranty is not applicable-
1) In case if plywood used with solid wood that are not preservative treated.
2) In case of improper and inferior workmanship.
3) In case of drastic mechanical and chemical treatment of the plywood.
4) In case the product has been used along with other product.
5) In case if natural wear and tear.
6) In case of lack of supervision against Unfavorable circumstances during usage.
7) In case the plywood has been used in abnormal humid and moist condition.
8) In case of abnormal usage of the product or damage arising out of interior components of the building like water seepage, concealed plumbing, bathroom/ toilets with eroded tile joints or faulty fitting etc.
9) In case of improper storage/handling/maintenance of product.
10) In case of improper machining of plywood.
11) Exposure of product to damaging substances such as chemicals, solvents, or oils.
12) Damage to product due to sharp or heavy objects, movements of heavy articles, fixing of recommended installation on the product surface etc.
Any claim must include high quality photos of the defect. On receipt of any complaint within the warranty period, an authorized person from Sarang will be deputed for the physical inspection of the alleged defective product for conducting proper examination at the site.
1) To validate the complaint proper proof of purchase (i.e. bill/cash/memo/invoice, etc.) issued by either the company or its authorized dealer, will have to be produced by the customer.
2) The company reserves the right to draw sample from the defected portion and thereafter send it for testing to its own lab or any other reputed testing Institute.
3) The claim will be settled after satisfactory ‘proof of defect’ has been provided.
The warranty is limited to the replacement of the damaged plywood only. No claim related to additional & ancillary expenses will be considered in any circumstances. Our valued customers are requested to ensure the genuineness of plywood as per the marking and identification sticker/QR code pasted on the plywood.
